That Place

I trust there is some place
where my perils fade into a golden mist
and I'd sink into winds that ferry me off
to some silken cloud of summer,
and while it would soon be as it is;
all dreary and grief stricken,
I do often bring back smiles
from a tender shade,
and the golden mist of summer haze
into bleak voids of grimmer days.
