Hidden

Upon rain
pelts the rain
on such a pretty lane,
in glitters spangled
it does wane.

Upon the toe
I skip to, I skip fro
and then I slip
on a shadow
that's laughing at some silly show!

Oh there comes the street, again,
I march to the beat,
among the shattered,
incomplete.

I reach a grey,
perhaps I'm home,
upon the bed
with a tired eye,
and a  heavy sigh,

I lull myself with the sleep
I found hidden
somewhere in my smile
splashed upon the pretty mile!
