Brew

Incense anoints with ember
a soul that's poised to fade.

I lit a candle there.

There's diurnal breath
in the light of a  Moon,
and a day that's scattered
in pale amber.

They all gather.

In a hush, quiesced,
they brought the sea,
they brew the breeze.

In white whispers
is a star-bathed Sun,
risen
somewhere far east.
