Shake yourself awake Sir,
it is but a charlatan's sun you see
in the mirrors he placed;
mirrors facing east.
You may yet find the sunrise now that you've risen,
or in the gleamy eyes of a traveller heading east
you may yet find the sun!
From My Heart To A Humming Dale
A collection of poems for the World.
Shake yourself awake Sir,
it is but a charlatan's sun you see
in the mirrors he placed;
mirrors facing east.
You may yet find the sunrise now that you've risen,
or in the gleamy eyes of a traveller heading east
you may yet find the sun!
