Someday I will wake up when the blue skies will shine
when the day means to me more than just to slog and whine,
when the day slips with indolence, and no one accounts for time,
when even fate adjourns it's duties and lets the winds purloin rhymes
ferried across by a soft breeze; sowing them, in my mind.
Yes, someday somewhere far I will meet these friends of mine,
In tender shades of childhood; we will recount our lot:
our laughs, our cries and silly mischiefs of life.
Someday I will wake up when the blue skies will shine.
Yes, someday somewhere far, I will indeed find,
the life I lost in the vastitude of time;
Someday in these shadows I might just find
this old lost friend with the same old smile.
