To relive

Here we are old friend,

from this breeze now
it alights;
in shades of old, a newborn light.

It's a new blue in an old sky,
new skies in an old blue,
a brighter gold
off the same Sun
and a brighter Sun
in an old eye!

One is now born from an eye,
head to toe from one's own eyes;
it trickles down our infant selves:
the blue, gold, Sun and sky!

Raised by winds, one now longs,
one now longs to reach that high,
one can now but only sigh,
that in shades of old and shades
bright,

over
and over again,

one grows old when eves alight!
